Take thought, when you are speaking of water, that you first recount your experiences, and only afterwards your refections..

With sensitive landscape and nature reserves around, Svencele is one of the few areas for new recreation in Klaipeda region. With open views across the Curonian Lagoon, to the sand dunes and close distance to Klaipeda village and main towns, it has the potential to become a new focus point for tourism.
This region consists of strong linear landscape elements such as sea, dunes, reed beds, small towns and villages, open grasslands and forests areas.
The aim of this project is to weave new recreation together with existing landscape and cultural characters in the region. It is about transforming regional qualities into new living solutions. It offers an opportunity for people to reclaim land which was devoted to farm buildings for half a century and do so with respect for the existing environment. The vision for this project is to create a dynamic and flexible area which will attract local, national as well as international visitors throughout the whole year.
